Movies like these they don't make anymore.We all would have read the tale of 'Rapunzel' the girl with long golden locks who lived in a forbidden cave away from her kingdom,Ohhh Yasssss,she is a Princess.But the way Disney presents it to us It will very well be one of the best movies of Disney & what better occasion than the celebration encompassing 50th movie of Disney.



No looooong reviews,big words or hollywood gimmick for 'Tangled' needed.Really the movie speaks for itself.We all say words like shweet,cute,magical & use them randomly anywhere & everywhere.'Tangled' if to be defined in a word would be "CUTE".Definately its the cutest movie i have ever seen & believe me i have seen a lot,lot & lot of them,Myriad being the word here :)

Leaving behind even 'Finding Nemo' & 'Ratatouille' when it comes to the 'Cute' , 'Shweet' & the 'Magical' part of it,this movie proves to be the masterpiece of Disney.Everything goes well for Disney here.Even Pascal the chameleon & the horse play their respective parts so well you would feel like giving away the critics award to them for the supporting lead even though they don't have a monologue for themselves.For 'Tangled' everything goes in an impecceble manner.Feels like Nathan Greno & Byron Howard have really infused life in these characters.

Disney movies have one big flaw for which i am always gonna hate them.You go out to watch an animation movie & end up having a crush on the characters. I hate you Glen Keane for this[Animation Director].'Rapunzel' OMG !!! Fell in love with the character,the girl,the way she sings.dances,carries her hair so impeccably,her dreams & her bafflement on seeing the whole new outside world for the 1st time.You dream of having someone like her in your life too,a princess,a girl with such simplicity yet being so picture-perfect,a girl any critic would dream of :)

Mandy Moore's voice used as 'Rapunzel' seems the best of decisions from the directors while Zachary Levi provides the much needed serenity as well as the impishness to the character of Flynn Rider.
I wish to write more,but very frankly speaking,i really want to watch this movie once again Asap.




"'The world is dark, selfish and cruel. If it finds even the slightest ray of sunshine, it destroys it".As in the words of the cunning lady to 'Rapunzel'.This movie makes us believe that however hard the selfish & the cruel may try,one day they are definately gonna succumb to the good this world still has.To all those who still live in an illusion that Fairy tales are just for kids & young innocent girls,get a life child.This one is for everyone who has seen the year 2011,God being there.


The movie has moments of its own,moments which prove that even Animation movies can make you shed tears,feel the pain when a loved one leaves all of a sudden & the smile you get when you see them once again.
'Tangled' is for anyone who has a heart,anyone who has ever dreamt,ever loved & to all those who believe one day all their dreams,even the wildest ones too would come true.
The scene on the boat may very well,said to be the moment of the movie when Rapunzel says:
 "What if,its not everything i always dreamed it will be"
To which Flynn replies: "Well that's the good part then i guess,  'You Get To Go Find A New Dream' "
Fairy Tale with a lesson,who says its just for children.
I give it a 10 On 10 just because i have been warned not to exceed that & one thing more, 'Tangled' would be the 1st movie my children are gonna see,that's my promise to my 'Rapunzel' wherever she is :)

DEAR GOD-Bless Us

If they can't understand your silence they are never gonna understand your words.Sometimes you feel you had the perfect life.Time which has passed always seems good.People always live their lives in past memories.The so called 'Good Old Days' :) 

If there is one thing i have learned since i have been here in the last 24 years its just that nothing is for ever.No damn thing.If its good today,may be tomorrow it can even be worst.People are gonna leave,however perfect your relation may seem to you,whatever promises they may have made.Its is a fact that if good its all good,& when if its bad......

They say God keeps teaching us one or the other new lesson to make us stronger,emotionally balanced & more practical to face the harsher realities of life.

We don't have probs with that.But someone plzzz tell me,why to bring people in our lives,create bonds,give us some great heavenly shweetest memories,Promises.....& then one day take away everything like it was just a mere dream,like it was nothing.

Dear God,i challenge,i dare you,do come here,love someone,anyone,atleast make a God damn relation based on love,care & trust,see what makes them laugh,& more imperatively what makes them cry,give them a reason to shmileee,let them tell U,what you mean to them,tell them what they mean to you,give them the weirdest of names to call them by,plan for their Birthdays since months to make them the happiest person on Earth,fight with them & switch off your cells phone & then get to know how much they missed you.

One good day do miss them & while doing so,shed a tear,& then again start shmiling seeing a text from them flashing on your pager.Become the reason of their happiness & in doing so somehow make them a reason for ur' shmileee too.

Miss them before going to sleep & talking to them through ways of your own making very sure that no one at your place & their's too does get a hint.

Opening your eyes at whatever time,wee hours of the night,some early chilly morning or late morning,even midday & the 1st thing popping in your head being "How are they".Not feeling good all day because you worried where they are,not replying to your calls,getting weird thoughts & then all of a sudden,life being normal again with a text from them "Ws wit Mom..Shopping..cell left d hoome..Miss u " & life once again being normal again :)

Working all day,meeting undesirable people,even having a worst day at work then too being happy thinking of them & the time you would be back to home,talking to them & forgetting everything bad which happened that day as if it was just a bad dream,nothing else.

Being in the market,shopping,& every product on which your eyes go once thinking if it would be loved by them.Buying the book of the author they love the most,fruits they have daily & may be if you a lil crazy even getting a T shirt or a watch of the brand they are mad about :)

Not still knowing what you have got yourself into,living life fully with no regrets,no complains,no demands,but still not feeling good if they are not around you.Feeling like having them around & not finding them & missing them like anything when they are not in that state of mind & you the only one missing them at that point of time.One person getting Emo,the other one getting pragmatic,practical.

God,with all due respect,this was not even a trailer to all that which comprises what we call 'Life'.Make a relation here & then just leave,Just leave,after shmiling,crying,dancing,celebrating life,discussing life,shedding tears,wiping tears,singing for them,getting dedications & hearing them say,one Holy Day, "I m never gonna leave you" , "I m never gonna forget you" , "you are the only person in this world who can make me shmilee & cry both in a second" , "I love u " , "I trust u " ,"I miss u..i miss u..i miss u..i don't wanna miss you".

& then one day...

Just leave..just leave forgetting everything..leaving everything behind & with a shmileeee on your face & songs on your lips.God,if you could do that i too can,but if you can't then please no more lessons please.If you really are there,& wanna teach people there are many a ways to teach rather than playing with people's emotions & making them learn the hard way.

Dear God,people here worship you like anything.Whatever you do to people,they still love you & believe in you & would always do.Don't you think its like for granted,people are gonna be loving you,come what may.& i tell you God,its a really beautiful feeling that someone loves you,cares for you,someone wants to see you happy.

So please if you too have ever loved someone stop playing with our hearts please..I hope you would listen to my prayer,my request this time,otherwise the challenge is still open.

DHOBI GHAAT-MUMBAI DIARIES[HOLY REVIEW]

This 1 is for classes straight away.No masses plzzzzzz.Kiran Rao proves her mettle in her debut vencture portraying the lives of 3 different people interconnected but stuck in their own lives in life's own ways.The story moves forward in a very simple yet elegant manner.You won't have a feel that you watching a movie.All it is but 100 Minutes of pure reality & situations which govern our lives,in this case lives of 3[infact 4] people in Mumbai or can i call it Bombay with full respect to the Maratha Manush :) brought altogether in the simplest lucid way.

Hmmmm...The story of the girl Yasmeen thru the letters Aamir gets & what happens to her is really intriguing as well as moving.This movie is all about human feelings & life which decides whom we may be having in our lives & who all are gonna leave us one good or bad day.

The movie moves entirely on some great performances.Whereas Aamir's betterhalf did her homework very well it has to be mentioned that the cast of the movie is really one thing which makes it perfect.Prateek Babar in his 2nd venture after 'Jaane Tu' proves that he is here for a looong time.His performance is phenomenal,he may very well be said to be the show-stealer of the movie.Monica too as a girl from America,a banker by profession who is in the 'Marine Drive' town on a sabbatical from work looks vibrant & very fresh.

Aamir Khan as always gives his life to his role of a divorcee,a loner,a painter,a man of few words but yet a man of feelings & emotions.The best thing about this movie is you may never feel like its just an Aamir Khan movie.Never.The movie revolves around every character & equal share & respect is given to all of them.

No songs,interwal or bollywood gimmick but a simple narration of the lives of some people who all come to Bombay,infact life brings them from Malhibad,Bihar & other Indian states.

The movie may be a little sluggish in the beginning,it would take some time to get really moving but when it it does,there's no looking back.

I watched it on my lap.No Songs,Masala,dances,Interval or typical bollywood romantics ,you can give it an hour time to download & watch on ya Lcd's & laps & desktops,notebooks,i-pods & all those gadgets am not so familiar with :)

Watch it for the name itself,Aamir Khan never disappoints[1].& this time its his lady love too who is with him.Well they say naa behind a successful man..Bla-bla-bla...This man already has had his share of success.Now its time for Mrs.Aamir Khan to show what she has learned from the Perfectionist in the last 5 years.

[2]Watch it for Prateek,this boy is going to make it big here,& there's are no second thoughts to it.Definately he stole the show.Aamir Bhai,i know you would be really happy to acknowledge this too.


[3]For Mumbai..& if you have the audacity to say 'Bombay'.If Jessica was for the whole of India with the target audience Delhi,this one is for Bombay & then the rest of India,Maliabad,Jaunpur,U.P,Rajasthan & with all due respect the remaining whole INDIA.

& haan..Dhobi Ghaat is not anything about Dhobis & all.Its about Life,its about looove & its a bout Destiny.Moving ahead & facing life as they say.. "Life neva stops in Mumbai aka Bombay "

Welll,if dere's really smthng which hasen't eva disappointed me its the 'Friends Series' Ma All Time Fav.Have got bored with things 1 day or d other may it be Mves,Big Boss or any so called show on television.But when it comes to 'Friends',its really the best thing that eva happened to television.I really believe this.

David Crane & Marta Kaufmann..U ppl Rock Man.Thanks a tonn for blessing us wit d best,bestieeeeeeeeeeee,bestest of moments eva wit 'Friends'.

'I B Dere For U,Coz U Dere For Me Too'

I would definately have completed all the 10 Seasons of 'Friends' in max 10 days like i did with 'HIMYM'[1 season a night :)] but the only reason i didn't was that i knew the day it happened,i would be really very Emo :P.Well you don't really attach yourself with every show u watch or the sitcom u see but this is not another show.'Friends' for me is like a lifetime of the best moments of 6 ppl who nvr knew how time would bring them 2gthr & dat 2 in such an eternal manner which even Holy God would neva wanna separate.

I remember the days when even if i had such great craving to watch d next epi i didn't.I had made a resolution,a pact with maslf of an epi a day of 'Friends' just coz i wanted it to last for as long as possible :) Ya,it sounds childish,a bit naive too but i knew it very well,i would neva be able to get anything like this or relate to something so much eva that i would neva want it to end.

'Friends' happened to me at the best possible time too.A time when i was away from ma Home,from ma family & ohhhh yasssss,away from ma Friends,from Lucknow,where ma heart was & owezzzz wud be :)

I saw Chandler & Joey & remembered 'The Days Of Our Lives' there.Initially i didn't watch it for the characters,i watched it for the Memos,the Holy Memories & the situations prevailing amongst them.If you are one of those lucky ppl who have been blessed with ppl like i have been,some relations which mean much more than what can be expained in mere words u definately wud loooove 'Friends' & wud get wat am sayin.

I very vividly remember one incident from 'Friends' where all Chandler,Joey.Ross,Monica,Rachel & Phoebe were sitting in their apartment when the Bell rang & they all were like seeing each other & wondering who the hell was it wen all of dem were already present there.It was like all the ppl dey eva needed to be happi were present in that very room.Magical,isn't it :) Its a really great feeling,which we all may have craved for at one point or the other before we came to realize that our lives are not governed by 'Marta Kaufmann & David Crane' but by sitauations which bring us together & then pulls us apart too.

I guess i have been writing since a very looooong time now but when its bout 'Friends' i really can go on & on & on.I remember getting up late for ma work while was in Bareilly[Ma 1st Job] around 11 A.M. & getting ready in a jiffy,rushing for work in a town where i didn't really knew anyone & missed ma Family & Friends both like anything every single day,every minute,every second.

It was these times when i really realized the importance of the lines...

"U r still in bed at 10 & work began at 8.U have burnt your breakfast so far & things are goin great.Your mother warned u dere b days like dese,but she didn't tell u wen d world has brought u down to your knees..dat..  "I B DERE FOR U,WEN D RAIN STARTS TO POUR,I B DERE FOR U LIKE I HAVE BEEN DERE BEFORE,I B DERE FOR U,COZ U DERE FOR ME 2"

God!!! M bein nostalgic now.Holy Memories :)

Well,every now & then i got a call from 1 of dem & which again made me feel dat life isn't dat bad,or was it !

Well...

So much to say but i guess its time to say Tata,byeee for smtime now :)

I still don't know whom is ma fav wen it comes to Chandler & Joey.Hope 1 day would be able to answer that.Till then...
